Salon Policies

Stylist Notice: Please note: All artists at our DeLand location and most at our Ormond Beach location are independent professionals.
They manage their own pricing, scheduling, and individual policies. Smokeshow Hair Co. provides rental space for these artists but is not liable for services performed by them.

If you have any questions or concerns about a service with a specific stylist, please contact the artist directly. If you need their information, we’re happy to provide it — just reach out!

Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee, based on your stylist’s individual policy.

Late Policy: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your service. Please plan ahead to ensure you receive your full experience.

No Show Policy: In the event of a no-show, a rescheduling fee will be required before booking any future appointment. It is also at the discretion of your stylist whether they will accept future bookings.

Adjustment Policy: If you’re unhappy with your results, we’re here to help — just reach out within 7 days of your service so we can make it right.
Please note:

• Complimentary adjustments do not apply if your hair has been altered by another stylist or yourself.
• Adjustments are made based on the original cut/color plan — not to change your mind on the desired look.

Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds. However, we want you to love your hair — please contact us within 7 days for a complimentary adjustment if needed.

Color Correction Policy: Color corrections are unpredictable, especially when box dye is involved. While we’ll do our best to give you your dream result, the health of your hair is our top priority — we will not push your hair beyond what it can safely handle and we cannot guarantee any specific outcome due to the unpredictability of color corrections. When booking a color correction, you are agreeing that you understand this notice. 

Children Policy: We understand that sometimes you may need to bring your little ones. Children are welcome, but please ensure they are supervised at all times and are not disruptive to guests or stylists. Keep in mind there are sharp and hot tools in use — their safety is important to us!
